Can you help?

Do you have a Swansea bike or frame? When Swansea closed their doors in the late 1973 all their records were destroyed. Frame numbers were mostly sequential but didn't incorporate any year or month codes like some other brands. Your contribution will help establish the age and provenance of these bikes which were a major part of WA's transport history.

Frame numbers are normally stamped under the bottom bracket, though you may find them on the rear dropout or the top of the seat tube, just under the saddle. Many bike manufacturers also traded in secondhand machines. Swansea's refurb numbers were usually stamped with the prefix "SSH", for "Swansea Second Hand". If you're entering one of these please note any other numbers in the Other Details field.
